Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join a growing furniture and interior design company.

The Accountant will manage daily financial operations, monitor project costs, support procurement and inventory processes, and help maintain accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work closely with design, sales, procurement, and operations teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial OperationsRecord daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting recordsPrepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivableReconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accountsMonitor cash flow and support cash management activitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsBudgeting & Cost ControlTrack project costs for furniture production and interior design projectsMonitor budgets and identify cost variancesAssist management in pricing analysis and profitability reportingSupport expense control and cost optimization initiativesInventory & Procurement SupportMonitor inventory valuation and stock movementCoordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding supplier invoices and purchase ordersMaintain records for raw materials, finished products, and project-related purchasesTax & CompliancePrepare VAT/tax documentation and ensure compliance with local financial regulationsAssist with audits and financial inspectionsMaintain organized financial and legal documentationAdministrative & Reporting DutiesPrepare payroll support documentation if requiredGenerate financial dashboards and management reportsSupport founders and management with financial analysis and forecastingAssist in implementing accounting systems and improving financial processes

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–5 years of accounting experience preferredExperience in furniture, manufacturing, construction, interior design, or retail industries is an advantageKnowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingFamiliarity with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel Required SkillsStrong analytical and numerical skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesGood communication and teamwork skillsProblem-solving and organizational abilitiesAbility to work in a startup environment with flexibility and initiative
