Accountant (General Accountant & Tax Specialist)

Autovrooom is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Obour City.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, tax compliance, payroll support, and day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.

ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.Perform monthly bank reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Handle VAT returns and tax filings in accordance with Egyptian tax laws.Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, and external accountants when required.Prepare payroll in coordination with the HR department.Monitor company expenses, budgets, and cash flow.Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.Maintain proper financial documentation for audits and legal compliance.Support management with financial analysis and reporting.Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in accounting.Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations, VAT, and accounting standards.Experience in payroll preparation and financial reporting.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Experience using accounting software or ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Previous experience in automotive, retail, or service companies is a plus.Professional certifications (CMA, CPA, DipIFR, etc.) are an advantage.
