Accounting Manager

Manage the day-to-day operations of Accounting team to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: (month and end-year process-accounts payable/receivable-cash receipts - general ledger-payroll and utilities Budgeting-cash forecasting-revenue and expenditure variance analysis-capital assets reconciliations- trust account statement reconciliations-check runs-fixed asset activity-debt activity).Conduct accurate, timely monthly and year-end closing requirements and deadlines.Ensuring that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented.Perform cash management functions and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll and bank reconciliation functions.Manage the preparation of accurate reports of financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actuals and financial projections to meet department requirements, policies and standards.Conduct internal and external Audit process to ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and issuance of financial statements with clean audit report within deadlines.

BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting.Professional qualifications such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.Experience in the finance field with 8-10 years of relevant experience in Accounting including at least 4 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.Proficient user of finance software preferably SAP.Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.Working knowledge of all legislation and regulations.
