Accounting Manager / Chief Accountant

Lead and develop the accounting team, overseeing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Inventory.Oversee the implementation of robust cost accounting systems tailored for metal transformation, scrap valuation, and manufacturing overheads.Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.Manage corporate tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding taxes, coordinating with external tax consultants.Monitor working capital, factory cash flows, capital expenditure (CapEx), and budget variances.Establish and enforce strong internal financial controls, minimizing operational risks and asset depreciation.Direct internal and external audit cycles, preparing all necessary schedules and addressing auditor inquiries.Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to the CFO and Board of Directors to optimize production profitability.Highly competitive executive salary + benefits (Commensurate with experience)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. (Postgraduate studies, MBA, or CMA is highly preferred).Experience: Minimum 10 years of solid accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.Industry: Industrial experience in Metallurgy / Metal Processing / Heavy Industries is a MUST.Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of industrial ERP systems and financial modeling.Age: Maximum 50 years old.Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of Egyptian tax laws, international financial reporting standards (IFRS/EAS), and industrial cost accounting.
