Architect Site Engineer

The Architect Site Engineer is responsible for supervising, executing, and managing all architectural and finishing works on the construction site (such as blockwork, plastering, flooring, false ceilings, painting, cladding, and fit-outs).

The role ensures that site activities are carried out in strict compliance with the approved shop drawings, project specifications, safety regulations, and the master schedule.

Site Supervision & ExecutionOverlook the day-to-day execution of all architectural finishing works from core-and-shell handover to final handover.Ensure all construction activities align perfectly with the approved Issued-For-Construction (IFC) drawings and Shop Drawings.Supervise subcontractors and site foremen, providing them with clear instructions regarding execution methods and required quality.

Cross-Discipline CoordinationCoordinate on-site daily with Structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

Site Engineerss during the installation of architectural elementsInspect the structural handover of rooms/floors to ensure they are ready for architectural finishes (checking levels, verticality, and dimensions).

Progress Tracking & ReportingMonitor daily progress against the project schedule and report any potential delays or roadblocks to the Construction Manager.Maintain a accurate site diary, documenting daily manpower, activities completed, weather conditions, and site issues.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.Experience: 3–6+ years of site execution experience (specifically handling high-end finishing, fit-out, and architectural works).Technical Skills:

• Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural shop drawings, structural layouts, and MEP schematics.Practical knowledge of construction methodologies, finishing materials, and execution sequences.Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (for quick on-site dimensions checking) and MS Office.Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and site management skills; strong communication skills to handle laborers, subcontractors, and demanding consultants; sharp problem-solving abilities under high-pressure site environments.
