Automotive Spare Parts Procurement Specialist

Job Description
-Manage the procurement cycle for automotive spare parts and fleet maintenance requirements.-Source, identify, and evaluate reliable suppliers and service providers.-Request, receive, and analyze quotations from different suppliers.-Prepare commercial comparisons and provide purchasing recommendations.-Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions.-Issue Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers until successful delivery.-Coordinate with Fleet, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to understand requirements and priorities.-Ensure the availability of critical spare parts to minimize vehicle downtime.-Monitor market prices and identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.-Maintain an updated supplier database and spare parts price records.-Follow up on delayed, incorrect, or defective items and coordinate corrective actions.-Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.-Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.-Prepare regular procurement reports and follow up on pending Purchase Orders.
Requirements & Qualifications
- -Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in automotive spare parts procurement / Fleet procurement.-Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts and vehicle maintenance requirements.-Proven experience dealing with local spare parts suppliers and automotive markets.-Strong negotiation and communication skills.-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.-Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.-Experience with ERP systems is preferred.-Good command of English is preferred.
