BI Developer

Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries using OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or other reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker).

Design, develop, and maintain publisher reports with templates using OBIEE/OAS or equivalent reporting tools.

Translate business requirements into technical designs, creating visualizations, reports, and analyses that meet organizational needs.

Optimize the performance of BI reports by tuning the RPD (Repository), SQL queries, and dashboards or the equivalent semantic/data model layer in the relevant reporting platform.

Develop data models and subject areas in the OBIEE/OAS repository (RPD), including physical, business model, and presentation layers, or their equivalents in other BI platforms.

Create and manage metadata models to ensure accurate representation of data in the reporting layer Analyze and improve system performance, ensuring high availability of BI services.

Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to BI dashboards, analyses, and data models across supported platforms.

Optimize database queries used within BI reports to reduce response times and improve report performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field. 1 to 3 Years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or any other enterprise BI/reporting platform.

Expertise in OBIEE/OAS RPD (physical, business model, and presentation layers), or equivalent data modeling and semantic layer experience in other platforms.

Strong SQL skills for database queries and performance tuning Familiarity with data integration (ETL) processes and tools.

• Hands-on experience in data modeling and managing metadata in BI environments.

Proven experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical designs.

Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.

Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills, result-oriented, and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
