Job Description
Job Aim:The Career & Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for strengthening engagement with alumni by maintaining accurate alumni records, tracking graduates' employment outcomes, supporting accreditation-related reporting, organizing alumni events and networking activities, coordinating mentoring initiatives, and fostering long-term relationships between alumni and the University.
The role also contributes to enhancing career development opportunities for students through active alumni involvement and strategic collaboration.
Responsibilities : Developing and implementing the university's alumni engagement strategy.Managing and maintaining the alumni database and dashboard.Tracking graduate employment outcomes and preparing reports to support accreditation and institutional effectiveness.Planning and executing alumni events, networking opportunities, and mentoring programs.Strengthening alumni engagement to support internships, career opportunities, and employer partnerships.Managing alumni communications and fostering long-term relationships with graduates.Collaborating with internal departments to support alumni-related initiatives.
3–5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:Career ServicesAlumni RelationsHigher EducationEmployer RelationsStudent AffairsCorporate RelationsCommunity EngagementPublic Relations or Stakeholder ManagementBachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Experience with alumni databases, or student information systems is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments, alumni, employers, and external partners.
