Chief Accountant

Participate in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and reduce financial risks.Lead, guide, and provide technical and administrative support to the team to improve overall performance.Coordinate and collaborate with other departments (Finance, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain) to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any related issues.Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management, focusing on key results and recommendations to support sound financial decision-making.Liaise with external auditors and external parties during scheduled reviews and audits to facilitate the audit process.Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes as required.Participate in tax examination/audit processes to help ensure that no tax penalties are incurred and to avoid arbitrary assessments.Prepare the company’s estimated budget to ensure there are no significant variances.Support cross-departmental review comparing the actual budget vs. the estimated budget to strengthen control over execution.Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and credibility of financial data.Perform any other assigned tasks related to the role to achieve organizational objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.Preferred: (CMA – IFRS – MBA).At least 5 years of experience as a Head of Accounts.Very good proficiency in MS Word.Very good proficiency in MS Excel.Very good proficiency in MS PowerPoint.Good English proficiency.
