Civil QC Engineer Specialized in SOG

We are hiring a Civil Quality Control Engineer specialized in Concrete Slab on Grade (SOG) to join our construction team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial and residential projects, with deep technical knowledge in concrete quality control and site inspection activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and approve all concrete slab-on-grade (SOG) activities on site.Monitor and supervise daily QC activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.Review and verify subgrade preparation, reinforcement works, and concrete pouring activities.Supervise field testing activities including slump test, concrete cylinders, and temperature checks.Ensure compliance with approved concrete mix designs and technical standards.Monitor FF/FL (Floor Flatness & Levelness) measurements and prepare related reports.Identify and prevent common concrete slab defects such as cracking, curling, and surface dusting.Maintain accurate QC documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Experience: +3 years of proven experience in civil engineering, specifically in Concrete Slab on Grade.Career Progression & Opportunities:Successful candidates will have a clear path to advance into Project Management for specialized SOG projects.High performers may further progress to Program Manager roles, overseeing multiple sites and specialized flooring operations.Opportunity for relocation or short-term assignments at our projects in KSA.
