Civil Technical Office Engineer (QS / Shop Drawings)
Job Description
A leading construction company is seeking a skilled Technical Office Engineer (QS / Shop Drawings) to join its team.
The ideal candidate will support project execution by preparing and reviewing shop drawings, performing quantity take-offs, and preparing BOQs while coordinating closely with site and design teams.
This role is key to ensuring technical accuracy and smooth workflow between the office and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs.
- Review and prepare shop drawings in coordination with site engineers and design consultants.
- Ensure all drawings and submissions comply with project specifications and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement regarding material quantities and project needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all technical office deliverables.
- Provide technical support to the site team when required.
- Assist in tracking project quantities and supporting cost control and reporting.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil is a Must).
- 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Office role (QS & Shop Drawings).
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity surveying, and quantity take-offs.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and ASD.
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
