Contract Engineer

Responsibilities:Preparing and drafting contracts: preparing main and subsidiary contract documents, purchase orders, and reviewing general and special conditions.Tender management: studying terms and conditions booklets, preparing bidding documents, and preparing technical and financial comparison tables for contractors.Follow-up and compliance: Monitor the performance of contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with contract terms, schedule, and technical specifications.Change Order and Claims Management: Review and analyze change orders (Variation Orders) and financial or time claims submitted by contractors.Settlements and Disputes: Coordinate with legal teams to address contractual disputes and negotiate amicable solutions.Financial extracts: Review and approve contractors' invoices and extracts based on actual completion rates.Periodic reports: Preparing weekly/monthly reports on the status of contracts and potential risks.

Essential Qualifications for Your Success:Required Skills:Strong foundational knowledge in Contracting principles and practices.Solid understanding of Engineering fundamentals, particularly within construction or civil disciplines.Proven experience or academic background in Construction project environments.Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Demonstrated ability in Problem-solving and analytical thinking.Knowledge of Site Supervision best practices.A commitment to quality, safety, and project deadlines.Experience Requirements:A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering or construction role.Experience in an on-site project environment is highly valued.
