Cost Accounting Manager

Lead and manage the Cost Accounting Department and oversee all cost accounting activities.Design and develop the cost system in line with the nature of agricultural operations and export packing houses.Prepare and calculate production cost, crop cost, packing and export cost, and analyze them on a regular basis.Prepare and analyze cost reports and present them to executive management with the necessary recommendations.Prepare annual budgets, monitor variances, and analyze their causes.Monitor the consumption of raw materials, labor, and operating expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.Collaborate with the production, agriculture, warehouse, and procurement departments to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.Develop cost-related KPIs and support strategic decision-making.Supervise periodic inventory counts and ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation and costing.Lead and develop the Cost Accounting team and enhance its technical and professional capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.Minimum of 20 years of experience in cost accounting, including at least 8-10 years in a Cost Accounting Manager role.Previous experience in large agricultural companies and fresh produce export packing houses is mandatory.Strong experience in agricultural costing, packing house and export costing, as well as industrial and production costing.Experience in preparing and analyzing product cost, acre cost, crop cost, and operating cost.Experience in preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and controlling costs.Ability to design and develop cost systems and cost centers.Proficiency in using ERP systems and cost accounting software.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and in preparing analytical models and reports.Strong analytical and leadership skills, with the ability to provide financial recommendations that support executive management.Proven ability to establish and develop a Cost Accounting Department from the ground up, building and leading a highly competent team of cost accounting specialists.Working Days: Six days per week (Saturday to Thursday)The company provides transportation on the following routes: (Alexandria – El Agamy – Abu El Matamir – Kafr El-Dawwar).The company provides single accommodation for employees relocating from outside the area.
