Cost Controller
Job Description
The Cost Control Officer is responsible for monitoring and controlling costs related to food production, inventory, and operations.
The role ensures accurate cost calculations, analyzes variances, and supports management in improving profitability and reducing waste.
Responsibilities:Monitor and analyze food, material, and operational costs.Prepare cost reports and compare actual costs with budgets.Track inventory consumption and identify variances.Review recipes, production costs, and product costing.Assist in controlling waste and reducing unnecessary expenses.Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse departments.Prepare periodic cost analysis reports for management.Ensure the accuracy of cost data and records.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.Experience in cost control, preferably in the food industry.Good knowledge of cost accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
