Cost Estimation Engineer (procurement)

Responsibilities:Lead comprehensive cost estimation processes for complex construction, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering projects.Collaborate closely with procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms with vendors and suppliers, ensuring cost-effective material and service acquisition.Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and competitive tender bids and budget proposals.Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of material costs, labor rates, and industry trends, integrating this data into estimation models.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project costs, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project managers and senior leadership, outlining cost breakdowns and financial projections.Drive continuous improvement in estimation methodologies and procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
