Costing Manager.
Job Description
Owning and governing the full product costing framework across all manufacturing lines and SKUs.Ensuring accuracy and integrity of standard costs, cost build-ups, and overhead allocation methods.Leading periodic standard cost reviews aligned with actual manufacturing performance.Performing detailed variance analysis (materials, labor, overheads, yield, scrap, rework) and driving corrective actions.Providing margin analysis and cost insights to support pricing, tenders, and commercial decisions.Partnering with FP&A on margin forecasting, scenario analysis, and profitability planning.Ensuring accurate inventory valuation and COGS in compliance with IFRS.Supporting internal and external audits related to inventory and manufacturing costs.Governing costing-related master data (BOMs, routings, cost centers, overhead drivers).Ensuring ERP costing configuration reflects operational reality and improving automation of costing processes.Leading, coaching, and developing the costing team.Acting as Finance’s key partner to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain functions.
Experience 12–18 years of experience in manufacturing finance and cost accounting.Strong background in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments (preferred).Proven experience leading costing functions and working with senior management.Deep expertise in standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis.Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and IFRS requirements.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.ERP experience (JDE Oracle or equivalent preferred).
