Job Description
The Finance Director will lead the financial strategy, planning, and governance of Gahez Market, supporting rapid growth, operational efficiency, and investor readiness.
This role is critical in building a scalable financial infrastructure for a fast-growing B2B fashion marketplace across MENA.
1.
Strategic Financial LeadershipDefine and execute financial strategy aligned with Gahez’s growth roadmap (Egypt + regional expansion).Support CEO in fundraising, investor relations, P&L, and financial storytelling.Lead financial modeling, valuation scenarios, and long-term business planning (3–5 years).
2.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across all business units.Develop data-driven insights to optimize revenue streams (marketplace commissions, logistics, financing).Build KPI frameworks (CAC, LTV, GMV, contribution margins, burn rate, runway).
3.
Cash Flow & Working Capital ManagementOptimize cash flow cycles across suppliers, inventory, and receivables.Establish strong controls on procurement, payments, and collections.Ensure alignment between sales, inventory movement, and financial reporting.
4.
Operational Finance & Cost OptimizationDrive cost efficiency across logistics, warehousing, and operations.Improve margins through pricing strategies and supplier negotiations.Implement scalable financial processes to support rapid growth.
5.
Accounting, Compliance & GovernanceOversee accounting operations, audits, and tax compliance.Ensure adherence to local regulations across operating markets.Establish strong internal controls and financial policies.
6.
Systems & Digital TransformationLead implementation/integration of ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Odoo, or similar).Ensure seamless financial data flow across platform, logistics, and payments.Drive automation in reporting and financial operations.
7.
Team LeadershipBuild and lead a high-performing finance team.Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
