Finance Director
Job Description
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, and cash flow management.Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve manufacturing profitability.Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to enhance business results.Establish and maintain effective internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.Partner with executive leadership to evaluate investments, expansion opportunities, and capital allocation.Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and present performance reports to senior management.Lead ERP financial optimization and digital transformation initiatives.Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory authorities.Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.MBA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a Finance Director or senior financial leadership role.Mandatory experience in manufacturing and industrial organizations.Proven experience managing financial operations for medium to large-scale organizations or diversified business groups.Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Treasury, Cash Flow Management, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.Deep understanding of IFRS, internal controls, corporate governance, and financial compliance.Experience in developing financial strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis.Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Odoo.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools (Power BI is a plus).Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business decisions.Experience leading, developing, and mentoring high-performing finance teams.Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred QualificationsExperience in diversified industrial or investment groups.Experience in business transformation, ERP implementation, or finance digitalization projects.Exposure to mergers & acquisitions, investment analysis, or corporate finance is considered an advantage.
