Job Description
Supervise and manage daily transportation and fleet operations.Organize and monitor drivers’ schedules, vehicle movements, and shift operations.Ensure vehicle readiness and follow up on preventive and periodic maintenance.Monitor fuel consumption and work on reducing operating costs.Track drivers’ compliance with routes, schedules, and delivery timings.Coordinate with different departments regarding transportation and shipping requirements.Follow up on vehicle licenses, insurance, and inspection renewals.Prepare daily and monthly fleet and transportation reports.Handle operational issues, breakdowns, and emergency situations efficiently.Monitor GPS tracking systems and analyze transportation routes.Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures during operations.Evaluate drivers’ performance and monitor attendance and discipline.Improve operational efficiency and minimize vehicle downtime.
Previous experience in transportation or fleet management.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and GPS tracking systems.Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage a team.Experience in factories or distribution companies is preferred.
