Offering video courses in Arabic and English, we curate top-rated training programs of expert-created content and guided curriculum with interactive delivery.Our Mission: ???? almentor is on a mission to increase accessibility to affordable quality education for Arabic-speaking communities and a Goal to serve 10 million learners in MENAJob OverviewYou will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, handling accounts payable and receivable cycles, preparing financial analysis and reports, assisting with budgeting and audit preparations, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and making recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures, including preparing monthly bank reconciliations.As the General Accountant, you will be in charge of:Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.Prepare and process vendor payments.Reconcile vendor statements.Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.Prepare and send customer invoices.Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.Reconcile customer accounts.Journal entries preparation and posting.Account reconciliations (bank, credit card, etc.).Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all journal entries.Assist in Audit process.Assist with the preparation and filing of various tax returns (sales tax, income tax, etc.).Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, English section is a mustMinimum 2 years of experience as a General AccountantStrong knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software, NetSuite is a plusStrong attention to detailsExcellent communication and documentation skillsAdvanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databaseFluent English is required
