What will you be doing?Record daily transactions in the general ledger system and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues.Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and basic adjustments.Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all entries are accurate and properly documented.Prepare monthly closing schedules and ensure all required data is completed on time.Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and resolve any differences.Reconcile balance sheet accounts such as receivables, payables, and intercompany balances.Prepare basic financial reports and accounting summaries for management review.Organize and maintain accounting records, invoices, and financial documents in an organized filing system.Check financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.Process and verify invoices, payments, and receipts in accounts payable and receivable.Update accounting records in the system and ensure data is always up to date.

What are we looking for?Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance from a reputable university0-2 Years of work experience as General Accountant or in a similar roleBasic understanding of accounting principles and practicesFamiliarity with journal entries and basic account reconciliationsStrong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Excel (Formulas and basic analysis)Oils & Grains is an equal opportunity employer committed to fairness, transparency, and accountability throughout the recruitment process.
