Graphic Designer (AI Image Generation)

ProfileTree is a digital agency based in Belfast, working with clients across the UK and Ireland.

We build and manage websites, produce written and video content, run YouTube channels, and deliver digital and AI training.

We are hiring a graphic designer who works fluently with AI image tools and treats them as part of a professional design process rather than a shortcut.The work covers imagery for client websites, artwork for articles and blog posts, social graphics, YouTube thumbnails and channel art, and visuals for training materials and video productions. A typical week might involve producing a set of on-brand images for a manufacturing client's new website, reworking thumbnails for a YouTube channel that is underperforming on click-through, and building slide graphics for a training workshop.AI image generation sits at the centre of this role.

You will be expected to get a usable result out of Midjourney, Firefly, Flux or whichever model suits the job, then take that image into Photoshop or Illustrator and finish it to a standard a paying client will accept.

Prompting is only the starting point, and the designers who do this well understand composition, colour, typography and brand consistency, and they know the difference between a generated image that is close enough to correct by hand and one that needs to be started again.The role is remote and full time, working hours aligned with the UK team so that there is a full working day of overlap.When you apply, send a portfolio link and pick out one piece of client work where you used AI as part of the process.

Three or more years of professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio showing finished commercial work rather than personal projects alone.Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Figma is useful, as is any experience with After Effects or Premiere Pro.Regular, practical experience with AI image tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Flux, Stable Diffusion, or the image models built into ChatGPT and Gemini.The ability to write and refine prompts towards a specific brief, and the judgement to recognise when a generated image needs manual correction.Written and spoken English strong enough for direct communication with the UK team.A portfolio link submitted with the application.
