Head OF Accounting

Supervise and manage the accounting team and daily accounting activities.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank accounts.Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions.Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and company policies.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission of all statutory reports.Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.Develop and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management.Support ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives when required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.7–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a Chief Accountant or Senior Accounting role.Experience in the Manufacturing or FMCG industry is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards, taxation, costing, and financial reporting.Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and team management abilities.Good command of English (written and spoken).
