Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead local and international sourcing initiatives to secure cost-effective and high-quality supplies.
- Continuously analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternative materials.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
- Negotiate supplier terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery and invoicing.
- Ensure timely purchase of raw materials, machinery parts, and operational supplies to avoid production disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with the production, quality, and logistics teams to forecast demand accurately.
- Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product and service quality.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, including cost reduction, supplier lead times, and order accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Evaluate and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical and economic factors affecting international purchases.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for procurement staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Beni-Suef residents only (Mandatory).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing both local and international purchasing in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and vendor management practices.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Very Good in English and proficiency in other languages are advantages.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
