HSE Area Manager
Job Description
Strategic Leadership: Develop, deploy, and scale robust HSE policies and management systems across multiple concurrent project sites.Risk & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Egyptian legislation, client mandates, and corporate safety standards.
Drive proactive hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies.Site Operations: Execute comprehensive site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Lead rigorous incident, accident, and near-miss investigations with clear, actionable corrective measures.Reporting & Analytics: Track key HSE performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver data-driven reports to senior stakeholders.
Team & Culture Building: Spearhead emergency preparedness initiatives, manage training frameworks, and mentor site HSE teams to elevate overall performance.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline.Experience: Minimum 12–15 years of dedicated HSE experience in the construction sector, with a proven track record managing multi-site, large-scale operations.Certifications: NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Diploma is mandatory. IOSH membership or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 45001/14001) is highly preferred.Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 standards, Egyptian labor/environmental laws, and modern construction HSE best practices.Skills: Exceptional executive reporting capabilities, strong incident investigation skills, and proficiency in MS Office.Behavioral Traits: High emotional stability under pressure (emergency management) and strong leadership presence to manage diverse project stakeholders.
