HSE Section Head

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with local and international standards.Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all production and packaging facilities to identify hazards and ensure compliance.Oversee the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs for employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including ISO 22000, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, HACCP, and ISO 14001.Prepare and present HSE performance reports and metrics to senior management, recommending improvements as needed.Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and external auditors during inspections and audits.Lead emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management activities to ensure preparedness.Drive initiatives to minimize environmental impact, including waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.Foster a proactive HSE culture by engaging employees, contractors, and stakeholders in safety campaigns and continuous improvement projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.3 to 5 years of progressive experience in HSE Section Head title within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing HSE systems in compliance with ISO 22000, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, HACCP, and ISO 14001.Strong knowledge of Egyptian and international HSE regulations and best practices.Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive organizational change.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with all organizational levels.Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.Proficiency in preparing HSE reports, documentation, and presentations.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, large-scale manufacturing environment.
