Infrastructure Manager

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for all technical aspects of Infrastructure in the Project.

Responsibilities include technical as well as timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.He is accountable for definition and delivery of technical deliverables and providing technical assurance and oversight for the entire project in the infrastructure discipline.

This includes technical assurance during the design, construction and early operational phases; field supervision during executes phase and ongoing support to other Asset and Project needs.

Key AccountabilitiesThe role of the Infrastructure Manager is to effectively manage the Engineering Survey and Design team.

The role focusses on monitoring infrastructure performance and the design of the project’s works program.In general, carry out all the Post-Contract Project Management activities on all Infrastructure Packages assigned to him/her as per CGP’s Business Processes and the established Project Charter/Project Management Plan.Manage and direct Consultants -as required- to meet the design and construction of Infrastructure requirements.Liaison with key internal and external stakeholders.Manage the performance of the Projects’ infrastructure including roads, drains, parks and associated infrastructure.Provision of quality advice and timely reporting to Project Director on infrastructure matters.Active participation in the Senior Leadership team and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.Oversee the infrastructure design, construction and technical specifications and contract documentation for projects infrastructure.Manage heavy vehicle permits and the approved heavy vehicle networkPerform other duties as required provided such duties are within the limits of the position occupant’s skill, competence and training and provided such duties do not promote a narrowing of the position occupant’s skill base

Education: Bachelor of Civil Engineering- Infrastructure Years of Experience: 8+Language: Arabic/EnglishComputer skills: Microsoft Office Applications/DWG Reader/Adobe Acrobat
