Inventory Controller
Job Description
Monitor all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, and transfers) and ensure accurate system recording.Maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling physical stock with system records.Conduct periodic and annual stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare inventory variance reports.Review receiving, issuing, and transfer documents to ensure compliance with company procedures.Monitor inventory levels and ensure compliance with minimum and maximum stock levels.Prepare periodic inventory reports, including slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged stock.Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Procurement, and other departments to ensure inventory availability.Ensure proper implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.Support process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.Comply with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or a similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).Strong understanding of inventory management principles and stock control processes.Experience in inventory counting, reconciliation, and variance analysis.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Experience in the FMCG or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
