IT Technician

Job Summary:Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various AV and surveillance systems on campus.Interact directly with end users to ensure systems are functioning properly.Support classroom and auditorium technical needs as required.Essential Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain CCTV security camera systems, including IP and analog cameras, NVRs, storage solutions, and monitors.Set up and manage access control systems for buildings and secure areas using electronic locks, card readers, software, etc.Outfit classrooms, meeting rooms, and public areas with audio/visual equipment like projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, and presentation devices.Provide technical support for digital signage, scheduling content, and addressing issues.Assist with auditorium technical requirements like lighting/sound controls, curtains/screens, and multimedia presentation hardware.Handle issues, system upgrades, and routine maintenance for AV and surveillance equipment.Troubleshoot technical problems and resolve or escalate as needed.Maintain inventory, service records, and document changes.

Technical degree, certification in AV or related field, or equivalent experience.Good knowledge of IP and analog CCTV, access control, audio systems, and digital signage.Basic knowledge of theatrical/production equipment.Understanding of networking/cabling infrastructure.Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently or collaborate in a team environment as required.Commitment to providing a high level of customer service.A minimum of 1 year of experience in Light Current Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Intercom, BMS, Digital Signage, Audio-Visual, … etc.)
