Junior Finishing Engineer

Job BriefThe Junior Finishing Engineer supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of all architectural and finishing works, including plastering, painting, flooring, ceilings, tiling, joinery, doors, windows, and other interior and exterior finishes.

The role involves site supervision, quality inspections, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising daily finishing activities on site.Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.Conduct site inspections and identify defects or non-conforming work.Support material inspections and verify that materials meet project requirements.Track project progress and report status to senior engineers.Help prepare work schedules and monitor adherence to project timelines.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Review shop drawings and finishing details under the guidance of senior engineers.Assist in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover activities.Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and daily progress reports.Participate in site meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients when required.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in construction or finishing works.Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
