Job Description
Sherkety, an innovative startup hub in Egypt designed to simplify the process of starting and managing businesses, is looking for a talented Junior Full Stack Developer to join our growing development team.
As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to building and maintaining our web applications and platforms that support Sherkety’s core services, including business registration, virtual addresses, ERP systems, and more.
You will work closely with our senior developers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the development of scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate developer who is eager to grow their skills and contribute to a mission-driven company that empowers startups.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, Python, and Angular.
Collaborate with senior developers and the product team to design and implement features that enhance Sherkety’s core services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices in web development.
Integrate front-end components with server-side logic to create seamless user experiences.
Assist in designing and maintaining APIs and databases to support our applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers and accepting guidance from senior developers.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in full-stack development to continuously improve our platforms.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with designers to create an intuitive user experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and Angular with the ability to work across the full stack (front-end, back-end, and databases).
Basic knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience working with web services.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and take constructive feedback.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Passion for learning and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.Nice to Have: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
Basic knowledge of ERP systems and e-commerce platforms.
