Job Description: Legal Counsel (Egypt / UAE)

OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned, execution-focused Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in Cairo, Egypt.

Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Advisory: Provide expert counsel on corporate, commercial, civil, and regulatory matters pertaining to both Egypt and the UAE.Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with high precision and adherence to international standards.Risk Management: Conduct thorough legal research, due diligence, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and effectively mitigate operational risks.Compliance & Monitoring: Manage legal compliance programs and internal policies while staying abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes in both jurisdictions.Operational Support: Offer proactive legal consulting on operational and management issues, supporting sustainable business practices and strategic initiatives.Translation & Representation: Oversee legal translation processes to ensure contextual accuracy and represent the company (or coordinate with external counsel) in disputes or business-related legal matters.

Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3–7 years of relevant legal experience, with proven expertise in Middle East legal practice (specifically Egypt and UAE law).Technical Proficiency: Strong command of legal drafting, contract review, due diligence, and legal research.Language: Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English is required, including the ability to handle complex legal translations.Core Competencies: Solid understanding of corporate compliance, legal management, and the regional business environment.Performance Expectations & CultureAgility: Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timelines and maintain a high level of responsiveness and availability.Flexibility: Capability to operate effectively in a cross-border environment, handling a broad range of tasks from administrative legal support to high-level strategy.Impact: Join a collaborative team in a vibrant Cairo office where integrity and innovation are valued.
