Logistics (Outbound Distribution) Manager

Lead and manage all outbound transportation and distribution activities across Egypt.Oversee the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of company-owned trucks to maximize fleet utilization and operational efficiency.Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and cost targets.Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.Develop and execute transportation strategies that improve service levels and reduce distribution costs.Monitor transportation KPIs, including OTIF, vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, delivery efficiency, and freight costs.Coordinate closely with Planning, Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure seamless order fulfilment.Resolve transportation issues, delivery discrepancies, and customer complaints in a timely manner.Optimize delivery routes, consolidate loads, and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and HSE standards.Lead, coach, and develop the transportation and distribution team while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in transportation, distribution, or logistics operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.Proven experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is essential.Strong expertise in fleet management, outbound distribution, route planning, and 3PL management.Solid understanding of transportation cost control, logistics KPIs, and operational performance management.Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
