Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plastic Pipes & Injection Machines)

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for plastic pipe production lines (Extrusion) and plastic injection machines to ensure continuous and efficient operation.Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults in extrusion lines and injection molding machines.Monitor and maintain pipe production equipment such as extruders, vacuum tanks, haul-off units, and cutting machines.Coordinate maintenance schedules with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.Ensure efficient operation of chillers, cooling systems, and air compressors supporting pipe and injection processes.Evaluate machine performance and provide recommendations for repair, upgrades, and process optimization.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize energy consumption.Track maintenance costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.Prepare regular maintenance reports and support data-driven decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.2–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of plastic pipe production lines (extrusion) and/or plastic injection machines.Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Good understanding of extrusion processes and injection molding machines.Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is preferred.Good command of English.Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a continuous improvement mindset.
