Mechanical MEP Technical Office Engineer (KSA)
Job Description
Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, Egyptian Codes).Develop and validate technical submittals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project timelines.Collaborate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to resolve technical issues and optimize project delivery.Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data for schematic design and design development phases.Review and interpret contract documents, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accurate implementation.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for the selection and approval of mechanical materials and equipment.Support the testing and commissioning process by preparing documentation and providing technical guidance.Maintain up-to-date records of all technical office activities, drawings, and correspondence.Ensure all mechanical engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a must 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a technical office role within the MEP or electromechanical contracting sector is a mustStrong knowledge of mechanical systems design, shop drawings, and technical submittals.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
