Job Summary"We are seeking a highly skilled and leadership-driven Mechanical Power Engineer to oversee our mechanical maintenance operations within our vegetable oil refining and processing plant.

In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians, optimize the efficiency of specialized oil extraction and refining machinery, and manage utility systems including boilers, steam networks, pumps, and heat exchangers.

You will implement rigorous preventive and predictive maintenance strategies while ensuring full compliance with energy management, occupational health, and strict food safety standards(such as HACCP) to maintain a seamless, cost-effective production workflow."Technical Skills:CAD Design: Proficient in AutoCAD and mechanical design software.Maintenance Software: Hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Diagnostic Tools: Expert in using diagnostic equipment (Vibration meters, Ultrasound, Thermal Cameras, Thickness gauges).MS Office: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Information Gathering: Strong internet research skills for technical data and sourcing.Operational Responsibilities:Maintenance Planning: Planning and organizing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.Reporting: Preparing analytical reports on failure analysis, breakdown prevention, costs, and equipment efficiency.Spare Parts Management: Inventory coordination with warehouses to ensure uninterrupted workflow.Testing & Commissioning: Testing machinery post-maintenance and coordinating with the production team.R&D: Continuous research and development for mechanical machinery optimization.Compliance & Standards:Energy Management: Optimizing equipment performance to reduce energy consumption.HSE & Food Safety: Commitment to Food Safety standards, Occupational Health & Safety (OHSAS), and Environmental regulations.

Job Requirements:Experience & Education:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Power is preferred).Experience: At least 3 of proven mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.Design Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant mechanical drawing/design software.Diagnostic Expertise: Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (Thermal cameras, ultrasound devices, thickness gauges, tachometers, etc.).Software Literacy: Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and professional maintenance software (CMMS/ERP).Languages: Very good command of both written and spoken English.Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and advanced online research skills.
