Mechanical Technical Office Engineer
Job Description
-Review project contract documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.- Prepare, review, and follow up on mechanical shop drawings with consultants.- Prepare RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications with project stakeholders.- Review subcontractors’ and vendors’ shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.- Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.- Resolve technical issues arising during construction and support site execution.- Prepare accurate as-built drawings upon project completion.- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and quality standards.- Maintain shop drawing logs and technical documentation.- Collaborate with the Technical Office Manager and project team to ensure timely project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office works within construction companies.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
- Good knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, BOQs, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Familiarity with Egyptian Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant international standards.
- Good coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office works within construction companies.
