Job Description

Responsibilities:Develop and review comprehensive shop drawings for various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting.Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for project tenders and procurement.Coordinate effectively with design teams, site engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.Conduct thorough technical reviews of project documents, identifying potential clashes and proposing solutions.Contribute to value engineering initiatives, optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Maintain meticulous project documentation and records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills:Possess a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications.Demonstrated expertise in Technical Office procedures and documentation.Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design review.In-depth knowledge of HVAC Systems, including design, installation, and maintenance considerations.Solid understanding of Plumbing Systems and relevant codes.Experience with Fire Fighting Systems design and specifications.Proven ability to develop accurate Shop Drawings.Skilled in preparing comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ).Excellent Project Coordination abilities to ensure smooth workflow.Strong Time Management skills to meet project deadlines.Exceptional Problem-solving capabilities to address technical challenges.Clear and concise Communication Skills for effective collaboration.Unwavering Attention to Detail in all aspects of work.Experience Requirements:A minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer role or similar capacity.
