Alexandria, Egypt Job OverviewWe are looking for a Mechanical Tender & Technical Office Engineer to join our team in Alexandria.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling tendering activities, technical office tasks, and supporting project execution from the pre-award stage through project completion.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review technical and commercial tender documents for mechanical worksAnalyze tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documentsPrepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical systemsCoordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical offersEvaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals technically and commerciallyParticipate in bid preparation, pricing, and submission processesPrepare technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals during project execution

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering3–5 years of experience in tendering and technical office for mechanical worksStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methodsExperience in reviewing technical drawings, BOQs, and specificationsGood understanding of tendering procedures, cost estimation, and procurement coordinationProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applicationsGood knowledge of Excel for quantity take-off and cost analysisAlexandria residents are preferred

Preferred QualificationsExperience in construction or contracting companies is highly preferredKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems is an advantageAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
