Medical Specialist - Endocrinology

For BUPA KSA Work Location: KSA “ Riyadh & Jeddah” A Telemedicine Endocrinology Registrar is a physician in advanced training who provides specialized care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders through virtual platforms.

The role integrates clinical expertise in endocrinology with digital health technologies to deliver accessible, efficient, and patient-centered care, while continuing professional development under consultant supervision.

Patient Consultations and Management

• Conduct remote consultations for acute, chronic, and complex endocrine medical conditions.
• Deliver high-quality medical consultations to patients
• Utilize telehealth tools (video, phone, secure messaging) to assess, diagnose, and manage patients.
• Ensure safe prescribing practices and appropriate use of digital monitoring devices.
• Provide continuity of care for patients with long-term conditions like diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, and osteoporosis.
• Monitor treatment adherence and outcomes using remote patient monitoring systems.
• Document findings and treatment plans meticulously in patient records.
• Facilitate referrals and multidisciplinary case discussions using telehealth systems
• Deliver virtual counselling on lifestyle modification, medication adherence, and disease self-management.

Quality Assurance and ComplianceConduct remote consultations for acute, chronic, and complex endocrine medical conditions.Utilize telehealth tools (video, phone, secure messaging) to assess, diagnose, and manage patients.Ensure safe prescribing practices and appropriate use of digital monitoring devices.Provide continuity of care for patients with long-term conditions like diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, and osteoporosis.Monitor treatment adherence and outcomes using remote patient monitoring systems.Coordinate follow-up visits, both virtual and in-person when necessary.Document findings and treatment plans meticulously in patient records.Collaborate with consultants, subspecialists, and allied health professionals via digital platforms.

Minimum of 3-5 years in Endocrinology as Endocrinology physician Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.Residency training in Internal Medicine from an accredited program.Fellowship training in Endocrinology from an accredited program.Fellowship certification in Endocrinology or equivalent.Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration as an Endocrinology Registrar.Proven experience as a Endocrinology Registrar or similar role.Experience in practicing population health management and value-based care approaches.Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine platformExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with patients and colleagues
