MEP Construction Manager (Mechanical Power)

Job Purpose:To manage and supervise all MEP construction activities across projects, (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing), and electrical works.

Ensure high-quality execution, coordination with the technical office, and efficient management of subcontractors.

The role is basically managing all MEP site managers The role also includes attending client meetings, monitoring the site team, and reviewing all contractor submissions and payments accurately.

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all MEP works on-site (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing), with oversight of basic electrical activities related to the project.Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.Attend client meetings to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and obtain approvals.Monitor and follow up on the performance of the site team, including Site Managers, Project Engineers, and Technical Office staff.Coordinate closely with the Technical Office, consultants, and subcontractors.Review and approve subcontractors’ invoices, interim payment certificates (IPCs), and all project-related submissions.Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards on site.Prepare periodic progress reports for management.Support problem-solving for technical or execution issues on site.Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all mechanical and electrical activities related to the project.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Power) with good knowledge of electrical works.7–10 years of experience in MEP construction projects .Strong experience in site execution, technical office coordination, and subcontractor management.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
