Network & Security Manager

Key Responsibilities:Network Design and Implementation:Design, configure, and maintain enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based solutions.Develop and implement network architecture for scalability and redundancy.Integrate emerging technologies and optimize network performance.Firewall and Security Systems Management:Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and other security appliances.Ensure appropriate access controls and network segmentation.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and incidents.Prepare reports for management on system health, security posture, and incidents.Monitoring and Maintenance:Monitor network and security systems using tools like PRTG.Check for alerts, investigate anomalies, and resolve issues proactively.Perform routine system and software updates (e.g., firmware upgrades, patch management).

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.Financial Background ”SME's, Microfinance, Fintech, E-Payment, or any related background" is a must.Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a large enterprise organization and dynamic environment.Strong expertise in network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Layer 2/3 switching, routing).Experience with network management systems.Proficiency with logging systems.Hands-on experience with different types of firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, ForcePoint, Sophos).Familiarity with F5 products (LTM, ASM).Cisco Routing and Switching expertise.Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products using documentation and online resources.Incident and disaster management and recovery.Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, F5 LTM & ASM, and NSE 4 are a plus.
