Become an Azkatecher: We are looking for an Odoo Developer who will design, develop, and customize Odoo solutions to meet our clients’ business needs.

Your role goes beyond coding, you will contribute to delivering scalable ERP solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

You will collaborate with functional teams, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and continuously improve system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:Develop & Customize Odoo SolutionsDevelop new Odoo modules and customize existing functionalities based on project requirements.Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Build and maintain backend logic using Python and the Odoo framework (ORM, API).Design and implement user interfaces using XML, JavaScript (including OWL), HTML, and CSS.Manage Technical Implementation & DeliveryParticipate in the full software development lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Deploy and configure Odoo instances in cloud and on-premise environments.Ensure system performance, scalability, and security best practices.Debug and resolve technical and performance-related issues.Integration & System OptimizationIntegrate Odoo with third-party systems such as payment gateways, SMS services, and REST APIs.Optimize existing modules and workflows to improve efficiency and maintainability.Implement automated testing using the Odoo test framework.Code Quality & CollaborationFollow Odoo development standards and best practices.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.Collaborate closely with functional consultants and project teams.Support knowledge sharing and contribute to team learning initiatives.Continuous Learning & InnovationStay updated on new Odoo releases, technologies, and development practices.Suggest reusable solutions and existing module utilization to reduce development time.Contribute ideas that enhance product quality and client value.

Who We’re Looking for: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Odoo development.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.Strong proficiency in Python and the Odoo framework (ORM, API).Solid knowledge of Odoo front-end technologies (XML, JavaScript/OWL, HTML, CSS).Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases.Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules from scratch.Experience integrating Odoo with third-party applications.Familiarity with Git version control.Understanding of Odoo domains such as Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, or Reporting is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Excellent English CommunicationAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
