Pricing & Cost Controller

Job briefWe are currently seeking an experienced, thorough, and insightful cost controller to oversee cost management for our entire company.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with various department managers to analyze costs, assess vendor relationships, and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities:Work in conjunction with all department heads to ensure maximum profitabilityProvide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projectionsAssess all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure the best priceCompare, track and analyze competitors pricing strategy.Maintain vendor and service provider relationshipsRemain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costsKeep up to date on new vendors and possible cost-cutting partnershipsAnalyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected costCollaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize wasteDemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost driversUnderstand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitabilityCommit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising qualityDevelop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measuresPresent new strategies and assessments to stakeholders in a compelling fashionEducate and persuade stakeholders to procure buy-in and cooperationRoll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals

Key Requirements:Retail/Trade/Cosmetics Cost Control experience strongly recommendedManagement experience strongly preferredExceptionally well-organized with an aptitude for dataOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalSolid networking and interpersonal skillsAble to generate budgets and reportsStrong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accuratelyAble to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department headsCreative thinking skills and ability to solve problemsGeneral Requirements:Fluent English Language is a must, German Second language is a plusExperience in working with different departments with different countriesBachelor’s degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferredMinimum 2 years’ experience working in cost controlProficient in using MS applications, particularly Word & Excel
