Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.

This role involves analyzing production data, developing process documentation, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing line.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize production processes, layouts, and workflows.Prepare detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, and control plans.Troubleshoot process-related issues and identify root causes.Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.Reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance equipment utilization.Conduct time studies and line balancing to maximize productivity.Support quality audits and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and industrialization projects

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.7 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.Experience in automotive, heavy machinery, or metal fabrication industries is an advantage.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles.Strong understanding of process flow, PFD, PFMEA, and control plan creation.Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).Familiarity with industrial standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Project management and documentation skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge with CAD software.
