Product Engineer

Conduct comprehensive brand benchmarking and market research on competitor cooking appliances (features, pricing, and specs) to identify market gaps.Formulate and maintain detailed Technical Sheets, Product Catalogues, and Product Requirement Documents.Act as the agile coordinator between the Manufacturing Plant and Marketing teams to ensure smoothly run product launch projects.Handle daily follow-ups with international vendors regarding Purchase Orders (POs), component sourcing, production timelines, and logistics deliverables.Review and audit Bill of Materials (BOM) cost structures when switching components or initiating product upgrades.Thoroughly evaluate physical samples, data sheets, and international compliance/quality certificates received from foreign suppliers to ensure alignment with Egyptian standards.Monitor shop-floor production efficiency and track the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives at the factory.Review production data and align closely with Post-Sales (Customer Service/Maintenance) to analyze defect rates, translating technical feedback into structural improvements with suppliers.Ensure manufacturing compliance with the company’s internal standards and operational best practices.Draft high-quality Product Guides and Training Materials that break down complex technical specs into commercial selling points.Conduct technical product training sessions for Sales, Marketing, and Call Center teams to optimize market positioning.Monitor training effectiveness and continuously update product literature based on commercial feedback.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering is a must).Experience: 2 to 3 years of solid experience in Product Engineering, R&D, or Operations within the Home Appliances industry is a must (Direct experience in Cooking Appliances is highly preferred).Languages: Fluent Professional English (Written and spoken) is mandatory for managing daily communications and technical negotiations with overseas suppliers.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, alongside a strong ability to read engineering drawings, technical datasheets, and quality compliance frameworks.
