Project Engineer

Project Engineer Job Responsibilities:Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projectsMonitor project activities compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.Understand the process of local authority submissions for various types of solar installation projectsPerform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.Liaising with stakeholders to align the expectations of the project.Coordination of permitting for projects.An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.Help project managers monitor project progress and team member’s performance and provide updates to project stakeholders.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and plans.Schedule stakeholder meetings, and document and generate reports.Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.Assist in the development and engineering to develop a preliminary design budget.Support bid packages and procure materials and services as needed.Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.Provide progress reports and other status updates to clients and management as required.Maintaining records and databases

Proven working experience as a Project Engineer (1 year of experience in solar Energy EPC project)Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera.Advanced MS Office skills.Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCADFamiliarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.Project management and supervision skills.Decision-making ability and leadership skills.Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.BS degree in Engineering (Renewable Energy or Electrical Engineering)1+ years’ experience in solar or renewable project management with a track record of successExcellent in English required
