QHSE Specialist

Intertrade Co. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QHSE Specialist / Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team.The role will support Quality, Health, Safety & Environment activities across production operations while contributing to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and ISO system implementation within the factory.

Key Responsibilities:Support preparation and implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systemsPrepare for external audits, certification audits, and customer auditsAttend customer audits and support closing observations and findingsPrepare corrective action plans and ensure proper implementation and follow-upCreate, update, and improve SOPs, Work Instructions, Checklists, Forms, and QHSE documentationMonitor implementation and compliance of SOPs across production and operational departmentsConduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspectionsFollow up on non-conformities (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPA), and customer complaintsConduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments across factory areasEnsure proper implementation of PPE and safety proceduresMonitor unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, and safety violationsParticipate in incident investigations and corrective action implementationSupport emergency preparedness activities, evacuation drills, and safety awareness initiativesPrepare quality, safety, environmental, and operational reportsParticipate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiativesSupport waste reduction, defect reduction, and process improvement projectsCoordinate with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to improve operational

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Quality or related field2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, QHSE in manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of Quality Systems and HSE practicesExperience with ISO systems, CAPA, inspections, and reportingGood analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsGood command of EnglishGood Excel and Microsoft Office skillsFactory/manufacturing experience is highly preferred Preferred Qualifications:ISO Internal Auditor CertificationOSHA / NEBOSH CertificationExperience in plastics, PVC, extrusion, or industrial manufacturingKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement tools
