Quantity Surveying Engineer

Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for sports construction projects, including natural and artificial turf fields, athletic tracks, and swimming pools.Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and verify quantities of materials and work completed.Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate cost planning and control.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to provide cost advice and value engineering solutions.Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective actions.Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications, variations, and claims in accordance with contract terms.Maintain comprehensive records of project costs, measurements, and contractual correspondence.Assist in the preparation and review of tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.Support the project team in risk assessment, cost forecasting, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveying Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control procedures.Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in cost estimation and reporting.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Willingness to conduct site visits and work on-site as required.
