Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on enterprise systems and Microsoft-based environments.

The role is primarily responsible for managing and optimizing servers, storage, virtualization, and core infrastructure services.The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in on-premise and hybrid Microsoft ecosystems, with working knowledge of networking and security components to support cross-functional operations when required

Infrastructure & Virtualization (Primary Focus)Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).Manage server infrastructure (physical and virtual), including capacity planning and performance tuning.Administer enterprise storage systems and backup solutions.Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

Microsoft Systems Administration (Core Responsibility)Manage and support:Windows Server environmentsActive Directory & Group PolicyMicrosoft Exchange (on-prem / hybrid)Microsoft SCCM / Endpoint ManagementAdminister and support Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Teams, Exchange Online).Support hybrid integration between on-premise infrastructure and cloud services (Azure AD, synchronization, identity management).

Cloud & Modern WorkplaceSupport and manage Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online).Assist in Azure-based workloads and hybrid infrastructure setups.Participate in cloud migration and optimization initiatives.

Networking & Security (Supporting Role – Not Primary)Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting for:FirewallsSwitchesWireless controllersUnderstand and support:VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCPCoordinate with security/network teams on:Patch managementEndpoint protectionBasic security hardening

Monitoring, Automation & OperationsImplement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell (preferred).Ensure systems availability, reliability, and performance.6.Support & DocumentationProvide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure-related issues.Maintain clear documentation:System configurationsArchitecture diagramsOperational proceduresCollaborate with internal teams and vendors.

Strong hands-on experience in:VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)Windows Server & Active DirectoryMicrosoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams)SCCM / Endpoint ManagementGood working knowledge of:Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)Basic firewall and switching operationsExposure to:Microsoft Azure (preferred)Backup and disaster recovery solutionsScripting experience:PowerShell is highly preferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
